Hickman is the administrative seat of Fulton County in the west of the US -amerikanischen state of Kentucky with 2,212 inhabitants. The city lies on the Mississippi , over which the ferry from Hickman to Dorena, Missouri runs. This is the only ferry route between the states of Missouri and Kentucky.

Demographics
In the 2000 census, the population was 2,560. These were distributed over 1,015 households in 665 families. The population density was 277.6 / km². There were 1,177 buildings, which corresponds to a density of 127.7 / km².
