action
The series is about the 15-year-old student Carl Montclaire. He is an outsider at his high school , Bennett High , and is teased by all of his classmates. He is unlucky all the time and is viewed by his mother as a unlucky one. To help him, Porter Jackson is sent to him. This is an angel in training (EIA) and has the task of transforming Carl into the most popular student at his school so that he can get his angel wings and call himself a full-fledged angel. But since his angelic powers are not fully developed, he and Carl keep getting into problems.
Characters
Carl Montclaire
Carl Montclaire is unlucky and an outsider at his school. He is constantly haunted by bad luck and cannot cope with it. With Porter's help, however, he is slowly becoming more popular, winning a basketball tournament , among other things, and taking the lead in a school play. Like other teenagers his age, Carl is interested in girls and is interested in the beautiful but unintelligent Brittany Hanson.
Porter Jackson
Porter is an Angel In Education (EIA) tasked with transforming Carl into the most popular student at his school. If he doesn't manage to do that, he'll have to wait 1000 years until he gets another chance. In contrast to Carl, he is self-confident and popular. During his time with Carl, he lives in his house.
Jane Casey
Jane is the smartest student at the "Bennett High School," a member of several associations and working groups at her school, where it is often the chairman. She is the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper and would like to become a journalist later. Jane is a good friend of Carl and like him, not very confident.
Alex Horatio P. Rodriguez
Alex is a good friend of Carl and Jane. He speaks fluent Swahili and knows all the capitals of the world. He's kind of weird, scared, and doesn't really play a big part in the series, but still shows up in every episode.
Dr. Cassabi
Dr. Cassabi is already an angel and Porter's advisor. So that he can better guard it, he has accepted a job as a tutor at "Bennett High". He has to help Porter a lot when something goes wrong again.
Brittany Hanson
Brittany is the most popular girl at her school. She's beautiful, but not particularly smart. Brittany would like to become a singer later, but has no talent for this, which she does not recognize herself.
Angela Montclaire
Angela is the mother of Carl. Carl finds her embarrassed and condescending, but she is very worried about her son.
Becky Montclaire
Becky is Carl's little sister. She thinks it is her job as little sister to annoy Carl, but her mother advises her not to work "overtime".
Serge Delvecchio
Serge often bullies Carl. He thinks he's a failure and a wimp, but can also be kind to him. Serge is the best athlete at Bennett High and often shows off about it.
Denise Simmons
Denise is an EIA like Porter but was trapped in a raccoon doll for 500 years which was her own fault. She therefore appears as Denise in the 2nd season. She doesn't think much of Porter, but they both get along well. Often she just does magic, which usually has many consequences. She also falls in love with Carl.
Dennis
Dennis is Doctor Cassabi's lackey. He has the shape of a raccoon doll, in the second season it turns out that Denise was enchanted by this doll 500 years ago and stayed that way all the time.
