Hilde Seipp
Hilde Seipp (born October 28, 1909 in Berlin , † November 4, 1999 in Lilienthal near Bremen ) was a German stage and film actress and singer.
Life
Hilde Seipp was the daughter of foreman Wilhelm Seipp and his wife Alma. She married filmmaker Jürgen von Alten (1903–1994) in Berlin on May 22, 1937 .
At the beginning of her career, Hilde Seipp sang in music revues in Berlin in the 1930s. In the revue A kiss travels around the world in the Deutschlandhalle with Rudolf Platte and Aribert Mog based on the music by Josef Rixner , she had her first great success.
During this time she also lent her voice to other actresses in the sound films, including Pola Negri in the 1935 film Mazurka . Peter Kreuder hired Seipp, who sang in the Berlin Opera Choir at the time, to sing the high notes of the songs I feel in me and Mazurka for the Negri. Although it wasn't made public or even mentioned in the movie reviews, her name made the rounds in the music industry. She came into contact with the film business and has now also received engagements as an actress.
She met her husband in the film Togger (1937) with Paul Hartmann and Renate Müller . After Heimweh (1937) with Gustav Knuth and Carsta Löck under the direction of her husband, she was then known to a wide audience.
After the war she only appeared in a few films.
