Hildebert Kollmann

Hildebert Kollmann (born May 20, 1875 in Bischofswerder , Rosenberg district in West Prussia , † March 17, 1937 in Hamburg ) was a German politician ( USPD / SPD ). He was a member of the Prussian state parliament .

Life

Kollmann attended elementary school and high school in Köslin . He then studied from 1890 to 1892 at the preparatory institute in Rummelsburg (Pomerania) and from 1892 to 1895 at the teachers' college in Köslin. Between 1895 and 1903 he worked as a primary school teacher at various rural schools in Pomerania . From 1903 to 1924 he was - only interrupted by military service and a stay in a military hospital - an elementary school teacher in Dramburg (Pomerania), then until 1930 elementary school teacher and deputy principal in Besenhorst on the Elbe and in Düneberg .

From May 1914 Kollmann took part in the First World War as a soldier . Between May 1918 and November 1919 he stayed in a hospital .

Kollmann joined the Independent Social Democratic Party of Germany (USPD) in 1918 and switched to the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) in 1922. From February 1921 to December 1924 he was first for the USPD, then from September 1922 for the SPD a member of the Prussian state parliament.
