Hildegard Juergens (born February 8, 1953 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From March 2011 to 2020 she was a member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Professional and private

After graduating from secondary school in 1970, Jürgens completed an apprenticeship as a tax officer in the middle service .

Since 1978 she has lived in the Hamburg settlement of Mümmelmannsberg . She is divorced and has two children.

Political career

Jürgens is chairwoman of the SPD in Billstedt .

In the Hamburg state election in 2008 , she ran for the SPD in the constituency of Billstedt-Wilhelmsburg-Finkenwerder . However, 6.6 percent of the votes were not enough for entry into the citizenry.

In the state election in Hamburg in 2011 , she ran again for the Social Democrats at number 19 in the state list. She made it into parliament and has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since March 7, 2011 .

In the 2015 mayor election , she won the majority of votes (17.8 percent) in the constituency of Billstedt-Wilhelmsburg-Finkenwerder and was once again a member of the citizenry. There she was a member of the submission committee.

She no longer belongs to the citizenship elected in 2020.
