Hildegard Teutsch

Hildegard Teutsch (born April 3, 1898 in Wilhelmshaven ; † between May 20 and 23, 1977 in Heidelberg ) was a German politician ( DemP , FDP ). From 1947 to 1952 she was one of the few female members of the Baden state parliament .

Career

The graduate student was the only woman among the nine members of the Democratic Party or the FDP who were elected to the Baden state parliament in the state elections on May 18, 1947 . Together with Maria Beyerle ( CDU ), Gerda Schlayer-von Puttkamer ( SPD ) and Ursula Falck ( KPD ), she belonged to the small group of only four women who were represented in the Baden state parliament alongside 56 male members. She was chairman of the social committee there. She exercised her mandate until the end of the unscheduled extended legislative period , which only ended in 1952 with the merger of the previous states of Baden , Württemberg-Baden and Württemberg-Hohenzollern to form the new state of Baden-Württemberg . It is not known whether she remained politically active as a result. There is also no information about her further personal life.

Hildegard Teutsch died in Heidelberg in May 1977 at the age of 79.
