Hildenhausen
Hildenhausen is the desolation of a village in the Harreshausen district of the city of Babenhausen in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district in southern Hesse .

The desert lies at 129 m above sea level , 1 km northeast of Harreshausen in the corridor "Am Hildenhäuser Weg".
history
The oldest preserved mention of Hildenhausen comes from the year 1248. In documents that have survived, X was mentioned under the following names (the year of mention in brackets):
- Hildenhusin (1248)
- Hildenhusen (1317)
- Hyldenhüsen (1342)
- Hildenhusen (1382)
- Hildenhusen (1408)
- Hyeldenhusen (1447)
The village probably came into Hanau ownership through the marriage of Adelheid von Munzenberg , daughter of Ulrich I von Munzenberg , with Reinhard I von Hanau , which took place before 1245 (the exact year is not known). It belonged to the office of Babenhausen of the Hanau lordship . It also belonged to the Mark Babenhausen and the Altdorf court .
Around 1407 the village was destroyed and the residents had to move to Harreshausen and build there on the instructions of the rulers.
