The Hinterhoftheater was a cabaret, founded on December 1, 1977 by Günter Knoll and Thomas Brönner , in the backyard of Gabelsbergerstrasse 50 in Munich . In July 1980, the backyard theater moved to the Wirtshaus am Hart at Sudetendeutschestrasse 40 in Munich. It was closed at the end of March 2007. The successor organization is HINTERHOF.kultur . Although the event agency no longer has a permanent establishment, it continues the program on changing stages under the direction of Günter Knoll.
