Hippelsbach is a hamlet that lies on both sides of the boundary between Groß-Bieberau ( Darmstadt-Dieburg district ) and Wersau ( Brensbach municipality in the Odenwaldkreis ) in Hesse . The settlement has no local character and was laid out around 1764. With the exception of two properties in the north and south-east, which belong to the Wersau district, the residential buildings are located in the Groß-Bieberau area. The 2011 census counted 45 residents.

The area around Hippelsbach consists almost exclusively of agricultural land.

For regional traffic, Hippelsbach is accessible from Wersau by the district road 118, which branches off from the federal road 38 and ends in Hippelsbach. Hippelsbach has the same postcode and phone code as Brensbach.
