The Longchamp Racecourse (French: Hippodrome de Longchamp ) is the most important horse racing facility in Paris . It is located in the Bois de Boulogne in the 16th arrondissement .

The current hippodrome was built in 1857 on the walls of Longchamp Abbey, which was destroyed in the French Revolution .
