Hiroo Mochizuki

Hiroo Mochizuki ( Japanese 望月 拡 雄 , Mochizuki Hiroo ; born March 21, 1936 in Shizuoka , Japan ) was born to Mochizuki Minoru . He is an international martial arts expert of the Yoseikan Budo. This art includes, for example throwing techniques as in judo , fist and foot shocks as in karate , sword techniques such as in kendo , locks and locking handles as in Jiu Jitsu and other self-defense techniques as in Aikido . Yoseikan Budō is mainly operated in Europe (France), Canada, but also in Africa. The characteristic of the approximately 15,000 members organized in clubs is a two-tone gi made of a blue top and white trousers.

biography

At the age of three, Hiroo moved to China with his family. There he began teaching martial arts under the supervision of his father. At the end of the 1950s, he met Henry Plée in France . In January 1959, Mochizuki returned to Japan. In 1963 he left Tokyo and moved to Paris. There he met Jacques Delcourt , who later founded the first European karate association (EKU).
