Grünes Hirschbächel is a right tributary of the Black Water in the Saxon Ore Mountains . It rises in the Grüner Hirsch forest on the western Rabenberg and flows into the Schwarzwasser after about one kilometer between the Haberlandmühle and the old location of the Täumerhaus near the Albertsthal group of houses in Breitenbrunn .
When mining was still flourishing in the Johanngeorgenstadt mountain area , the water from the Grüner Hirschbächel was also used to convey it to the mountain buildings on the Rabenberg via a ditch. Here u. a. the Grüner Hirsch, Philippi Jakobi pits and, more recently, shaft 205 of the Wismut .
