Hiss and Yell is a 1946 American comedy film .

Vera is convinced that the magician Bluebeard beheaded a woman. Vera does not know, however, that she observed the magician during a rehearsal for his performance. Vera is convinced that she saw a real murder. When, by chance, she has to share a train compartment with the magician, the train ride becomes a torture for her.
