Hodokvas
The Hodokvas Festival has been held in Piešťany ( Slovakia ) on a small airport site since 1999 and in 2006 had around 20,000 visitors per day. The programming on the main stages is international and focuses on rock / pop. Culture in the broadest sense is offered on the side stages.
history
On August 18, 2005, Die Toten Hosen performed during their Eat or Die tour .
In 2006 it took place at the end of August and got a slightly more international orientation. With the likes of Living Color , Sofa Surfers , IAMX , The Locos , Iggy & the Stooges , The Presidents of the United States of America , etc., it was rewarded with 20,000 visitors a day.
Since 2007 the festival has been run by the newly founded Nova Music Entertainment s. r. o., which is a subsidiary of Nova Music Entertainment GmbH in Austria. In addition to Nova Rock and Lovely Days , Nova Music Austria also organizes many performances by artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers , Korn and Muse .
