Take or die tour
The Friss oder Dies Tour was a concert tour by the music group Die Toten Hosen . The tour was named after the song Friss oder dieb , which the band released as a single in spring 2004. The concert tour was organized by the company Kikis Kleiner Tourservice and supported by the music broadcaster MTV Germany .
The tour began in May 2004 with concerts in Sofia , Belgrade and Zagreb . In the summer months the band performed at Rock im Park in Nuremberg and Rock am Ring on the Nürburgring at the Aerodrom Festival in Wiener Neustadt , at the Open Air Gampel and at the Openair Tufertschwil in Lütisburg . The concert tour ended on December 30, 2004 in the Arena Berlin and continued on April 24, 2005 with a free concert at the international spring snow festival in Samnaun , Switzerland on the Alp Trida. The band gave further concerts in the large halls in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The band was not announced at Rock am Ring in 2005, but performed there spontaneously. The organizer Marek Lieberberg therefore presented her as the first group in the history of the festival to receive the “Rock-am-Ring key”, which entitles her to perform there at any time in the future without prior approval. The tour ended on September 10, 2005 in the sold out LTU Arena in Düsseldorf.

Crew, merchandise and stage decoration
The tour management was with Kiki Ressler, who initially worked as a roadie for the band since 1982 and has been running the company KKT ("Kiki's small tour service") since the 1990s. The musicians and the 65-strong crew, for whose meals the chefs of the RGF (“ Red Gourmet Fraction ”) were responsible, traveled in four buses. As in previous years, various members of the Black Devils MC under the direction of Manfred Meyer were responsible for security .
The design of the tour posters, tickets and t-shirts that were sold during the tour was done by Dirk Rudolph . It shows silhouettes of the band members in front of a gray background with splashes of white paint and red lettering. The stage decoration, which mainly consisted of vanitas symbols , was designed by Johannes and Georg Breitkopf.
Publications
