The Europahalle is an event hall in Karlsruhe , Baden-Württemberg , which can accommodate a maximum of 9,000 spectators.

It comprises a main hall with four hall parts (total 2200 m² usable area), 200 m tartan track, athletics training area, weight room, warm-up hall 27 m × 15 m. With a seating capacity of 6500 (2800 built-in grandstand places, 1200 places through variable grandstand elements, 2500 places through additional grandstand elements) and 2500 standing places, the Europahalle has a total capacity of 9,000 standing and sitting places.

The complex also offers the Karl Benz halls (KBS 1 + 2 = 260 m²), which can be divided by a folding wall, as well as the Karl Wolf Hall (208 m²) for various events and 2,200 parking spaces.

A structural feature of the Europahalle is the roof construction, which is only supported by two steel cables.

During the European basketball championships in 1985 and 1993, several games took place in the Europahalle. The Bundesliga basketball team BG Karlsruhe played its home games in the hall.

From June 2014 the Europahalle was no longer available for events with more than 200 people. A fire protection report commissioned by the city of Karlsruhe as the owner came to the conclusion that the hall no longer corresponds in all areas to the current state of security and building technology for major events. At events with more than 200 visitors, there were deficiencies in the areas of ventilation and smoke extraction. Regardless of this, school and club sports can still take place in the hall.

In September 2017, the city of Karlsruhe granted the second division basketball club PS Karlsruhe Lions permission to play its home games in the Europahalle from December 16, 2017. A capacity of up to 1500 spectators was permitted. At the end of March 2019, the Karlsruhe municipal council voted to renovate the hall from 2021 onwards, so that after the work was completed, events with an audience of up to 4,800 can be held. Costs of 30 million euros were estimated for this, and the end of 2023 was specified as the completion date of the construction work. A demolition of the Europahalle, which was also being considered, was rejected.
