Gampel is a parish of the dean's office in Leuk and a village in Upper Valais that belongs to the political municipality of Gampel-Bratsch in the Leuk district of the canton of Valais in Switzerland.
On January 20, 2008, the voters of the communities Gampel and Bratsch decided to merge the two communities. The new community was founded on January 1st, 2009 and is called Gampel-Bratsch .
