Location of the municipality

Inden is a municipality and a civic community with a civic council in the Leuk district and a parish of the Leuk deanery in the German-speaking part of the Swiss canton of Valais . Inden is located in the Dala valley on a high plateau below the health resort of Leukerbad . The hamlet Rumeling below the village of Inden also belongs to the municipality .

The village used to be opened up by the Leuk-Leukerbad Railway .
