The Hofmark Kammerberg was a Hofmark based in Kammerberg , today a district of the municipality of Fahrenzhausen in the Upper Bavarian district of Freising .

history

In the 13th century, a branch of the Wittelsbach ministerials split off from Camer, who named themselves after their seat in Kammerberg . Since the second half of the 13th century they sat in the Kammerberg Castle in the district court of Kranzberg . In 1452 the Kammerbergers sold the Hofmark Kammerberg to Konrad von Freyberg . It came to her husband Wilbold von Pirching in 1518 after the death of Ambrosius von Freyberg through his daughter Ursula. He bequeathed the Hofmark in 1560 to Günther von Bünau through his daughter Anna . In 1609 his brother Rudolf sold the Hofmark Kammerberg to the Munich councilor Franz Füll.

In 1814, the Füll family sold the Hofmark to Karl Paur, the postman at Unterbruck . Then it changed hands twice in a short time. In 1821 it was sold to the former canon of St. Martin in Landshut, Johann Baptist von Ickstatt . His heir, Johann Vincenz von Ickstatt, sold the Hofmark in 1828 to Johann von Vequel, who had called themselves Barons von Vequel-Westernach since 1852 . The family had owned the Hohenkammer and Giebing court brands since 1833 .
