The fyr Hogsteinen is a beacon on the island Godøy on the west coast of Norway in the town of Giske in Fylke Møre og Romsdal .
The beacon consists of a white brick tower at the end of a long natural stone pier. The 11 m high brick lighthouse was decommissioned in 1905 and replaced by a cast iron beacon.
The white lighthouse is still an important landmark in the busy sound between Godøy and Ålesund .
Bricks are a seldom used building material in Norway. Therefore, the Hogsteinen fyr was placed under monument protection.
