The Hohe Gjaidstein is a 2794 m high panoramic mountain in the Dachstein Mountains in Upper Austria, east of the Hallstatt Glacier . It can be reached from the mountain station of the Dachstein-Südwandbahn or from the Simonyhütte with easy climbing ( I ). In addition to the Hohe, there is also the Niederen Gjaidstein ( 2482 m ) and the Little Gjaidstein ( 2734 m ).
