Holger Trimhold (born June 13, 1953 in Wolfhagen ) is a former German soccer player and active trainer . His greatest success so far is 8th place in 1979 with VfL Bochum .

career

The sons Horst and Holger were born with football talent from their father Heinrich Trimhold - a former goalscorer in the Gauliga at Schwarz-Weiß Essen . The technically outstanding offensive player Holger Trimhold made his debut at SWE in the Regionalliga West in the 1971/72 season . Trainer Heinz Höher used the talent from his own youth department for the first time on the starting day, August 15, 1971, in the 2-0 away defeat at SVA Gütersloh . After the end of his active career, he worked several times as a football coach.

From 1991 to 1994 Holger Trimhold was a trainer at FC Sportfreunde 1920 Schwalbach and from 1994 to 1996 at Spvgg 03 Fechenheim .

In the 2009/10 season he was employed as a trainer for the SG Bruchköbel .
