Holland Casino is the state-owned casino in the Netherlands and operates 14 branches, the first of which was opened in Zandvoort in 1976 . The branch in Amsterdam is the largest and the profits go directly to the Dutch tax authorities .

As in other nations , funds paid out are exempt from income tax. Depending on the national tax regulations, the profit earned is then used for wealth tax.
