Hollywood Undercover is a thriller of Reynaldo Villalobos from the year 1997 .

Stan Navarro, a policeman, quits his job at the LAPD . He opens a private detective agency where he employs former police officers. Many of the employees are traumatized.
Stan works mostly for the filmmakers. He uncovers the affair of a well-known director and is confronted with the dark side of Hollywood . Stan has to decide whether to sacrifice the life of an innocent woman for a career.

Dragan Antulov regretted on rec.arts.movies.reviews that the thriller would not continue. Anthony Yerkovich creates an insight into the darker aspects of the film industry. The thriller is dark and depressing . Edward James Olmos play realistically ; In addition, the portrayal of Charlize Theron is remarkable - not just because of her appearance.
