The Holzbach is a 2.9 km long right tributary of the Dickopsbach in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany . The stream is called the Rheindorfer Bach in the lower reaches .

geography

The Holzbach rises about 200 meters southwest of the Berggeistweiher at an altitude of 146  m above sea level. NHN . It flows primarily in northeastern directions to Walberberg . From the Rheindorfer Burg the brook is canalized for longer stretches. A little later, the stream reached Schwadorf , where he at Schallenburg to 65  m above sea level. NHN flows into the Dickopsbach on the right . The difference in altitude of 81 meters corresponds to an average bed gradient of 28 ‰. The 1,978 km² catchment area is drained to the North Sea via Dickopsbach and Rhine .
