Homosexual acts are illegal. You can be punished with a fine or imprisonment for up to two years. There is no anti-discrimination law in the Central African Republic . Due to the illegality, there is no state recognition of same-sex couples, nor the possibility of same-sex marriage or registered partnership in the Central African Republic.
