Honor Bellscheid
The Honschaft Bell Scheid was from the Middle Ages into the 19th century to one of 14 Honschaften in district court Homberg the Office Angermund the Duchy of Berg . The area of the Honschaft is today in the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Ratingen in the Mettmann district .
In the course of an administrative reform within the Grand Duchy of Berg , the Eckamp mayor's office was formed in 1808 . The Honschaft Bell Scheid made in the 19th century then together with the Honschaften Bracht and Homberg , a special municipality of Berg mayoralty Eckamp in county Dusseldorf the administrative district of Dusseldorf within the Prussian Rhine Province .
According to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district from 1832, the towns and places of residence Bellscheiderhof , Breckhausen , in the Brüggen ( Schmitzbrück and Schrödersbrück ), Herrenbrück , Kesselsdell , Knevels , Knopshof , zu Malz , Nottberg , Obenanger and Weiersberg (original spelling ).
In the 1840s, the three Honschaften formed the rural community of Homberg-Bracht-Bellscheidt that since 1930 the Office Hubbelrath in county Dusseldorf-Mettmann belonged and 1967 with the community Meier mountain to the municipality Homberg-Meier Berg was merged.
