The Hopfenbach (Czech Rybniční potok ), formerly Schneiderhofer Bach on the upper reaches, is a right tributary of the Chamb in the Czech Republic and Germany .

course

The Rybniční potok rises south of Filipova Hora in the Všerubská vrchovina . Its source is located at the eastern foot of the Halovska (644 m nm) and north of the Přední skála (607 m nm) in the Český les Nature Park . On its upper course, the stream initially flows to the east and then in a north-easterly direction past Filipova Hora to Krásnice . There the Rybniční potok turns to the southeast and flows through Mlýneček (stable). Then its course leads south west of the Pařezovka (Sauberg, 483 m nm) and the Tetřívek (480 m nm) as well as the desert areas Buchar (Puchermühle) and Myslív (Schneiderhof) past through a wide meadow valley. To the south-west of Všeruby , the Rybniční potok is dammed between the Šibeničník (Galgenberg, 472 m nm) and the U Hranic (451 m nm) in the desolation Na Rybníce (Weihermühle) in the pond Myslívský rybník (Schneiderhofer Pond). Then it flows west of the former border crossing point Všeruby - Eschlkam over the Czech-German border. After nine kilometers the Hopfenbach flows into the Chamb at the Seugenhofer Mühle . The Czech part of the stream is eight kilometers long, the German one kilometer.
