Horacio Salaberry , full name Horacio David Salaberry , (born April 3, 1987 in Colonia del Sacramento ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.80 meter tall defensive player Salaberry was at the beginning of his career from 2005 to mid-2009 in the ranks of the reserve team (Formativas) of Defensor Sporting . In the 2008/09 season he was then on loan to the squad of Club Atlético Rentistas and played for the Montevideans at least three games in the (no goal) in the Segunda División . At the beginning of August 2010 he moved to Plaza Colonia . There he scored a total of five times in 38 second division appearances in the opposing goal in the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons. In July 2012 he was loaned to Mushuc Runa . The usage statistics at the club from Ecuador show him four hits in Primera B. He completed at least four league games. At the end of January 2013 he returned to Plaza Colonia. In the 2013 Apertura he played in twelve second division games and scored two goals. At the beginning of March 2014 he was signed by LDU Portoviejo . There are at least five league appearances and a total of six league goals for him. At the beginning of 2015, Salaberry joined SD Aucas . Ten goals and 48 first division appearances have been recorded for him at the Quito club . This was followed by a move to Independiente Santa Fe at the beginning of June 2016 . The Colombians, he was in ten first division (no gate), five meeting (no gate) of the Copa Colombia , two games (no goals) of the Copa Sudamericana in 2016 and in the two finals against the Argentine club River Plate to the Recopa Sudamericana in 2016 used . In the latter competition, his team lost to the Argentines. Salaberry scored the only goal of his club. Since the beginning of 2017 he has continued his sporting career at LDU Quito . So far (as of March 11, 2017) he was used there in two top division games (no goal).
