Mushuc Runa Sporting Club is an association founded in 2003 Ecuadorian football club from Ambato , Tungurahua province , which is currently in the Serie A play.
history
The Mushuc Runa association was founded in Ambato in 2003 with the aim of being a role model for the integration of the indigenous and rural population of Ecuador. The name of the club comes from Quechua and means new man. The club started in the third category and rose to the second category in 2008. 2011 promotion to the successful series B and only two years the rise in the later series A . In the 2016 season, the club rose back to Serie B for the first time. In the 2018 season, Mushuc Runa became Serie B champions and rose to the first division. In addition, the club was able to qualify in a play-off for the Copa Sudamericana 2019 .
Stadion
Mushuc Runa plays his home games at the Estadio Bellavista . The stadium was inaugurated in 1945 and has a capacity of 18,000 seats.
