Horst Förster (born April 26, 1942 in Düsseldorf ) is a German lawyer and politician ( AfD ). Since December 5, 2017 he has been a member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Parliament ( MdL ).

Live and act

Horst Förster studied law at the University of Cologne and was a court assessor at the Cologne Regional Court in 1971 . In 1972 he moved to the regional court in Flensburg as a judge and in 1990 was appointed presiding judge at the regional court in Kiel . In February 1991 he switched to the judicial service of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and initially headed the Neubrandenburg District Court before he was appointed Director of the Neubrandenburg District Court in March 1992 . He held this position for more than 15 years before retiring in 2007. Since then he has been working as a lawyer .

In the 2017 federal election , Horst Förster was 8th on the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania list of the alternative for Germany . On December 5, 2017, he replaced Leif-Erik Holm in the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, which had resigned his state parliament mandate at the end of November 2017 as part of his parliamentary mandate. Förster is the asylum policy spokesman for the AfD parliamentary group in the state parliament.
