Chaudeney-sur-Moselle is located about 29 kilometers west-southwest of Nancy and three kilometers south-southeast of Toul on an arch of the Moselle (French: Moselle ). Neighboring municipalities of Chaudeney-sur-Moselle are Dommartin-lès-Toul in the north, Villey-le-Sec in the east, Pierre-la-Tiche in the south, Bicqueley in the south and south-west and Toul in the west and north-west.
