Lay-Saint-Remy is about 40 kilometers west of Nancy and about twelve kilometers west of Toul on the Rhine-Marne Canal . Lay-Saint-Remy neighbors are Foug in the north, south and east and Pagny-sur-Meuse in the south and west.
