Gye is a French commune with 251 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Toul and the canton of Toul (until 2015: Toul-Sud ).

Gye is nine kilometers south of Toul at an altitude between 214 and 252 m above sea level. The municipality covers 6.51 km². There is a toll booth for the A31 Autoroute in Gye .
