The canton of Toul is a French constituency in the arrondissement of Toul , in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle and in the region of Grand Est (until the end of 2015 Lorraine ); its capital is Toul .
history
The canton was created when the French cantons were redistributed in 2015. Its communes previously belonged to the cantons of Toul-Sud (8 communes), Toul-Nord (6 communes) and the city of Toul (cantons of Toul-Nord and Toul-Sud).

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the six voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, the team Alde Harmand / Michèle Pilot (both PS) won against Julie Met / Billy Winkens (both FN ) with a share of the vote of 54.63% (turnout: 51.49%).
