The canton of Jarny is a French constituency in the arrondissement of Briey , in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle and in the region of Grand Est (until 2015 Lorraine ); its main town is Jarny .
history
The canton was created when the French cantons were redistributed in 2015. Its communes come from the cantons of Conflans-en-Jarnisy (16 communes), Chambley-Bussières (9 communes) and Homécourt (9 communes).

The canton is located in the northern half of the Meurthe-et-Moselle department.

In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, the pairing Jean-Pierre Minella / Manuela Ribeiro (both DVG) won against Frédéric Dawiskiba / Joëlle Maltry (both FN ) with a share of the vote of 57.54% (turnout: 44.26%).
