The Canton Herserange was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement of Briey , in Meurthe-et-Moselle and the region Lorraine ; its main town was Herserange . The last representative in the General Council of the Département was Laurent Righi ( PCF ) from 1996 to 2015 .
