Avrainville is a French commune with 219 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Toul and the canton of Le Nord-Toulois (until 2015: canton of Domèvre-en-Haye ). The inhabitants are called Avrainvillois .

geography

Avrainville is about 20 kilometers west-northwest of Nancy . Avrainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Manoncourt-en-Woëvre in the north and west, Rosières-en-Haye in the northeast, Jaillon in the east and Francheville in the south.
