Horst Landau

Horst Landau (born December 11, 1937 in Düsseldorf ) is a German writer .

Life

Landau studied dentistry from 1957 to 1962 and received his license to practice medicine . In 1964 he received his doctorate and the following year he did military service as a medical officer , which lasted seven months. Until 2001 he worked in a dental practice. The Leipzig painter Verena Landau is his daughter.

He had his first publications in 1969 and 1972 in the Lyrik heute series on Deutschlandfunk , before two of his radio plays were broadcast on Saarland Radio in 1972 and 1974 . Since 1973 he has been a member of the Association of German Writers and since 1991 of the European authors' association Die Kogge .
