Horst Poenichen

Horst Poenichen (born January 20, 1924 ) is a German actor .

Life

Horst Poenichen is the father of the actor Felix Martin and was married to the phonetics professor Ursula Gompf (1940-2013). Stage engagements took him to the Freie Volksbühne Berlin , where he appeared in plays such as Die Nashörner or Die Grotte ( Jean Anouilh ) as well as to the stands (theater) . He made his debut in 1954 in the fairytale film adaptation of King Drosselbart . Further appearances followed in the film Der Revisor from 1967, 1970 in Löwe wanted and 1972 in Viola and Sebastian .

He played the main role of Mr. Schleewein in 1983 in the family series These Drombuschs , directed by Claus Peter Witt and Michael Meyer . In the 1973 series Peter is the Boss he played the role of the art dealer Zimmermann and in an episode of Berliner Weisse mit Schuß he played Egon. Horst Poenichen also played in several Dieter Hallervorden productions , such as The Subtenant , A Fortune Under the Carpet or The Sniffer .

His voice could be heard in radio plays from the Philips single ( The Devil with the Three Golden Hairs ) or as a Quikki advertising bunny in the commercials for Nesquik .
