action

The well-known and successful detective Mark Lissen actually only wants to go on vacation. But no matter which European hotel he stays in, immediately after his arrival he is involved in a criminal case. Lissen has to deal with crimes of all kinds: murder, extortion, theft, espionage. Others

The series was a production by TV-Star Munich. Producer Dr. Harald Müller had already been responsible for the Alarm in the Mountains series and produced several Durbridge films in the 1980s .

The idea for this series came from Edward Maria Solger, who also wrote the books for some episodes. The other two authors Walter Forster and Stefan Gonnermann were also responsible for other series. Gonnermann wrote scripts for The Strange Methods of Franz Josef Wanninger and The Fifth Column, among others, and, like his colleague Forster, who wrote the books on Alarm for Dora X , worked as an author for Das Kriminalmuseum .

Episode 13 ( “The Wedding” ) was originally supposed to be broadcast on April 19, 1967, but was postponed to July 26, 1967 on the same day because of Konrad Adenauer's death .

Almut Eggert and Wolfgang Spier , who can be seen together in the episode "The Executioner's Meal" , were married from 1959 to 1965.

Imdb runs the series with the addition The adventurous vacation of Mark Lissen . This addition is not found on the crime thriller homepage or on the DVD label.
