Arthur Binder

Arthur Binder (also Artur ; born February 23, 1919 in Trier ; † June 1, 1976 in Munich ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

In addition to his extensive work as a frequently booked speaker for radio plays in the 1960s, Arthur Binder also took on supporting roles in crime films . In total, he played four times in different Edgar Wallace films , mostly as a clumsy crook. He was best known in 1967 for the portrayal of the seedy castle caretaker Grimsby in The Dog of Blackwood Castle , which is why he is one of the better-known Wallace supporting actors of the 1960s.

In addition to other roles in films and television series from the early 1970s, Binder continued to work as a radio play speaker until his death.

Arthur Binder was buried in the Meersburg cemetery in Meersburg on Lake Constance .
