Olga Anna Eleonore von Togni (born December 19, 1914 in Vienna , Austria-Hungary , † May 15, 1992 in Munich , Germany ) was an Austrian actress .

Life

The daughter of a general trained in dance and acting and was a solo dancer on stages in Vienna in the early 1930s. As an actress, she made her debut in 1939 in Aussig and Marienbad . Engagements in Linz, Dortmund and in 1942 at the Schillertheater in Berlin followed. Other theater stations were Aachen, Stuttgart and Munich.

From 1948, Olga von Togni took over film roles in which, contrary to her aristocratic origins, she mostly played simple country women. She was married to the cameraman Walter Robert Lach and was buried anonymously in the forest cemetery in Munich , Neuer Teil, grave field 421.
