Horst Ziethen (* 1934 ) is a German film and theater actor .
Act
Horst Ziethen attended the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and began as a theater actor in the 1950s at the Rostock Volkstheater ; During this time he was also seen in Rostock productions on GDR television. Around 1970 he moved to the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. Under the direction of Hanns Anselm Perten he performed a. a. in plays such as The Persecution and Murder of Jean Paul Marat performed by the acting group of the Hospice at Charenton under the guidance of Mr. de Sade by Peter Weiss .
From the end of the decade he was also involved in productions for German television broadcasters . He made his TV debut in 1960 in Die Talente (1960, directed by Hans-Dieter Schmidt ), with Manfred Krug and Edwin Marian in the leading roles. In the following years he worked in television productions by Walter Beck , Adolf Dresen ( Juno and the Peacock , 1975), Alexander Lang ( The sad story of Frederick the Great , 1963), Gaudenz Meili ( The arge legend of the cracked gallows rope , 1978), Hanns Anselm Perten , Peter Vogel ( The First Row , 1987), Lothar Warneke and Manfred Wekwerth with; He also appeared in television series such as Unknown Citizens , Bach in Arnstadt , The Public Prosecutor has the floor and around the clock . His last appearances on television included Roland Graef's drama Das Haus am Fluß (1986), in Jurij Kramer's Hour of Truth (1988), in Heiner Carow's Coming Out (1990) and in the Polizeiruf 110 episode Polizeiruf 110: Why me. .. .
