The Horumer Tief is a deep in the northeastern area of the municipality of Wangerland in the district of Friesland in the north of Lower Saxony .

The approximately five kilometer long watercourse in the Jeverland , through which inland water flows into the North Sea , arises from the confluence of the Grimmenser Tief and Bassenser Tief at Minsener Hammerich.

It then flows in an easterly direction and through Horumersiel , bends south and flows into the Hohenstief . Immediately thereafter, this flows into the Wangertief , which eventually flows into the North Sea.

In earlier times the low was mainly used for drainage and as a traffic route, today it is also used for recreational sports such as paddling and fishing .
