Housemeister is the pseudonym of the Berlin techno musician, DJ and AYCB label owner Martin Boehm (born November 11, 1977 ). He also publishes under the pseudonym Otherfucker . Together with Fabian Feyerabendt from Toktok , Böhm publishes under the pseudonym On / Off , together with Tony Planet from Autotune as a Monday cinema . He remixed artists such as Boys Noize , Zombie Nation , Paul Kalkbrenner and Modeselektor .

Life

Born in Northern Germany in 1977, Boehm grew up in a newly built area in East Berlin. After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, he devoted himself to graffiti art and hip-hop music. In 1994 he discovered through events like Love Parade and Mayday the Rave -music. In 1995, Boehm moved out of his parents' home and founded a flat share with his best friend in Kreuzberg 36 . He started working as a DJ and has worked for Ellen Allien's record label BPitch Control since 1999 .

2002 appeared with Wake Up! his first maxi at BPitch Control. After a few more single releases, his debut album Enlarge Your Dose followed in 2006 on Boys Noize's label Boysnoize Records . In the same year Housemeister founded his own label Allyoucanbeat together with Dirty Doering , on which Housemeister's second album Who Is That Noize was released in 2008 .
