Housewives from Another World is an American erotic film from director Fred Olen Ray under the pseudonym Nicholas Medina, who as a 2010 television production for the transmitter chain Cinemax was filmed.

At the beginning of the film, Karen catches her husband Max in bed with the neighbor Rita. Annoyed, she leaves the house and runs away with a bottle of alcohol in hand. Outside, she discovers a splinter from a meteorite that has fallen on the earth. It picks up a small part of the seemingly lifeless rock. However, this allows the alien life form in the meteorite to take control of the woman's body. The extraterrestrial life form is now trying to prevent the secret development of a space exploration satellite in Karen's body. To implement her plans, she also gives the neighbor Rita and Max's colleague Carla a necklace with a meteorite splinter. Carla and Tom actually also have the job of stealing the plans for the satellite.

The film was produced by the production company Retromedia Entertainment . From January 2011 it was broadcast several times at fixed times and "on demand" on the Cinemax network. The DVD was released on April 6, 2010.

Ken Pierce writes for PiercingMetal Musings that compared to similar films like "Tarzeena" or "Super Ninja Doll" the film is not very impressive in terms of sets and costumes. However, he praises the performance of Heather Vandeven and Christine Nguyen. HK and Cult Film News also praised the actors - in addition to Christine Nguyen, Rebecca Love and the male actors. In addition, the direction and the good quality given the low budget is emphasized. Even Dr. Gore's Movie Reviews and Mitch Lovell ( The Video Vacuum ) published reviews of this film.
