occupation

Ghost in a Teeny Bikini is an American erotic film from director Fred Olen Ray , who as a 2006 television production for the transmitter chain Cinemax was filmed.

action

While filming a film by her boyfriend Ted Wood Jr., Muffin Baker learned of the death of her wealthy uncle via a telegram. She travels with her boyfriend to the property of the deceased, where his last will is to be read to her. However, the lawyer Archibald Weisenheimer and his daughter Evilyn are planning to murder Muffin and claim the inheritance for themselves. The mansion is haunted by the ghost of Tabitha, who is friendly to Muffin and helps her. Weisenheimer then tries to kill the heiress and lets his daughter try the same with Ted.

In the uncle's read-out will, it says that both a box with his property and the key that goes with it are hidden in the property. Muffin then retires to rest. The spirit Tabitha appears to her and seduces her. This makes it clear to her where to look for the chest and the key. However, when Weisenheimer and Evilyn threaten her in order to get the money, Tabitha appears again and helps Muffin. Weisenheimer confesses to have murdered Muffin's uncle and is taken away by a policeman (whom Ted had brought in in the meantime).

background

The film was produced by production company American Independent Productions . From autumn 2006 it was broadcast several times at fixed times and "on demand" on the Cinemax chain and on August 8, 2006 it was released on DVD.

The building in which a large part of the film was filmed also served as the location for the film Voodoo Dollz .

reception

Dr. Gore praised the film in his review for the humor and the variety of three songs that are sung in the film. The best actors are Evan Stone as Butler and Rebecca Love. Obscure Horror also rates the humorous songs and the role of Evan Stone positively. However, Christine Nguyen is singled out as the best actress in the film. Bill Gibron sees Ghost in a Teeny Bikini as an above-average good B-Movie and rates it as highly recommended. Finally, Tars Tarkas awards 8 out of 10 points.

Mitch Lovell from The Video Vacuum, on the other hand, gives a rather negative rating. The sex scenes are mostly terrible and too few. In contrast to other critics, he also criticizes the songs as a particular low point.
