Houssine Kharja ( Arabic حسين خرجة Husain Chardscha , DMG Ḥusain Ḫarǧa ; Born November 9, 1982 in Poissy , France ) is a Moroccan football player . He has been without a club since July 2016.

In the club

Kharja moved to the 2001/02 season in the Italian Serie B to Ternana Calcio , where he spent a total of four seasons before moving to Serie A at AS Roma for the 2005/06 season. There he was used only occasionally, including when he made his debut in the European Cup on October 20, 2005 on the occasion of the UEFA Cup group match against the Norwegian club Tromsø IL . For the next season he returned to the Ternana Calcio. After he moved to Piacenza Calcio for half a year in 2007 , he played for AC Siena from 2008 , where he established himself as a regular. In summer 2009 he moved to CFC Genoa .

After being in winter 2011 - first as a loan with a subsequent purchase option - to League rival Inter Milan moved, he scored on 3 February 2011 at his second with the new club on a 3: 0 victory against AS Bari , the 1: 0 .

Kharja also made his UEFA Champions League debut in the Inter Milan jersey . On February 23, 2011, he was substituted in for Andrea Ranocchia in the second leg of the second leg against the German record champions FC Bayern Munich in the 73rd minute . Inter lost the game 0-1.
