The Hovebach is an orographically right tributary of the Abrocksbach in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany . It has a length of about 6.4 km.

River course

The Hovebach rises at a height of around 105 meters in the Patthorst, a district of the Steinhagener district Brockhagen and flows following the flattening of the Teutoburg Forest in a south-westerly direction. On its course, the stream leads exclusively through forest areas and agricultural terrain. After the water runs for a few meters over Haller district, it flows through the nature reserve Feuchtwiesen In den Wösten north of Brockhagen .

West of Brockhagen the Hovebach flows into the Abrocksbach at its river kilometer 10.5.
